GERALD R. FORD
(1913 - 2006) 38th President of the United States who assumed office upon the resignation of Richard Nixon, who Ford later pardoned for any involvement in the Watergate scandal. T.L.S. "Jerry Ford" on his House Minority Leader letterhead, 1p. 4to., Washington, Sep. 24, 1969 thanking his correspondent for agreeing with his position on: "...busing of students, loans and grants to student rioters, and on foreign aid..." Folds, very good.
