DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER
(1890 - 1969) 34th President of the United States, Supreme Commander of Allied forces in Europe during World War II and largely responsible for the successful invasion on D-Day. Signed autograph card, approx. 4.5 x 2.5 in., signed in black ink. The card is enclosed with a typed letter on "Columbia University" letterhead, 1p. 8vo., New York, March 1, 1950, from the President's assistant who forwarded the card, along with the original transmittal envelope. Very good overall.
