PENNSYLVANIA MAN CHARGED WITH FORNICATION AND BASTARDY
Partly-printed D.S., 1p. oblong 8vo., Adams County, PA, April 1856, a Grand Inquest finding that one John Heagy, "...did commit fornication with a certain Sarah A. Schwien, and a male bastard child on the body of her...did then and there beget...". Vertical folds, else very good. The Pennsylvania law remained in place until at least 1975.
