A BOOK FROM THE LIBRARY OF SS-OBERSTURMBANNFUHRER MAX WUNSCHE
A Third Reich publication with an interesting association, "Schonheit der Technik" ("Beauty of Technology"), by Franz Kollmann (Munich: Albert Langen), 1928. 251pp. sm. 4to., a history of German technological development through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Most interestingly, the front pastedown bears a bookplate identifying it as the property of SS-Obersturmbannfuhrer MAX WUNSCHE (1914-1995), a recipient of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and the German Cross in Gold. Shows mild soiling to some pages, with minor soiling to the taupe cloth covers and slight damage to the spine, else very good.
