A RUSSIAN SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL SNUFF BOX
On the lid of the box is an image of a bogatyr' (hero of Russian epics) copying the image of Dobrynia from the famous painting by V. Vasnetsov. The image is surrounded by a border of turquoise dots. The rest of the box is covered with delicate ornament using cloisonne enamel technique. Inside the box is gilded, with Russian hallmarks on the bottom. 88 silver standard.
