Boskin Mikhail Vasilyevich (1875, der. Korelovschina, the Petersburg province – 1930, Zagorsk).
In 1889 entered the Drawing school of the “Association of Arts Encouragement“, was an external student of the Academy of Arts. Participant in Moscow Association of Artists (since 1904), the Fellowship of itinerant art exhibitions (since 1906). At the end of 1908 traveled in France and Germany. Since 1910-s lived in Sergiyev Posad. Since 1914 was an active member of Sergiyev Posad Association of Artists. Since 1925 became a member of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia. In 1925-1927 worked as a theatre artist, designed performances of Sergiyev Posad Drama Theater. Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in Sergiyev Posad in 1930 and 1987. The works of Boskin M.B. are presented in the collections of Zagorsk, Rostov-Yaroslavl reserve museum, in the art museums of Irkutsk, Sevastopol, Kuibyshev, as well as in private collections.
