Jamie Perry is a Southern California native who grew up in Claremont and now lives in Colorado. He was largely self-taught as a painter, although he developed his skills and portfolio through the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, the California Art Institute and Cal State Fullerton. He initially worked as a commercial illustrator, producing advertising and branding imagery, before abandoning commercial work for fine-art painting. At one point he worked as a stuntman in Hollywood. Overall framed size measures 31.75 x 31.75 inches.
