AN UNUSUAL SASHIKO QUILTED JAPANESE FIREMAN'S JACKET - The dense, multi-layered indigo cotton garment is heavily reinforced with atypical diamond grid hand-stitching on the lower half while the upper section is made in the traditional technique comprising multiple layers of cotton held together with upwards of 100 sashiko stitches per square inch. The back is emblazoned with large red crest surrounding the Kiyomizu text styled as a snowflake or lotus-like star frame similar to the reversible inside while the the front lapels display white resist brigade insignia.
