In 19th century Japan players often learned of new places or historical events while playing. | This version that celebrates the completion of the Tokaido Main Line railway depicts a modern brick railway station with a steam locomotive puffing smoke in 1889. It linked Tokyo and Kobe by rail for the first time. This game was produced in response to the growing fascination with this new mode of travel technology.
