A JAPANESE FIREMAN'S JACKET WITH TSUNADE, ADAIR ESTATE - The rare 19th century firefighter's jacket of thick multi-layered hand-loomed cotton is decorated with a finely executed rendering of Tsunade standing atop a giant toad dodging flying arrows. The image is rendered in fine detail and an interesting depiction of the toad's warty skin. The front and sleeves are decorated with floating stylized cloud motifs. Measures 39 x 47 inches.
