Labels verso provide additional information and provenance. One label identifies the work as number 299 from the collection of Judy Farnsworth Lund - Theodore Milton Wassmer, husband and wife artists and collectors. A number of works by Will Stevens are found to include provenance to the Wassmers. The Springville Museum of Art included in an essay on Judy Farnsworth Lund Wassmer, ''In 1952 the Wassmers moved to Woodstock, New York, where they continued to paint for the next thirty-three years and also developed a fine collection of art. The Wassmers returned to Salt Lake City in the mid-1980s, where they donated over 900 paintings from the Lund-Wassmer Collection to museums and galleries in Brigham City, Fairview, Ephraim, Logan, and Springville before her death at the age of eighty-four.''
