Robert Sudlow studied under Albert Bloch and Raymond Eastwood at the University of Kansas from 1938 to 1942. After serving in WWII he returned to Lawrence and served as Albert Bloch's teaching assistant at KU He then began teaching at the University of Kansas in 1947 and continued until his retirement in 1987. During his tenure, he was appointed professor of drawing and painting and was later honored as professor emeritus of art. Canvas measures 27.5 x 31.5 with a framed size of 33.25 x 37.25 inches.
