Norma Bassett Hall (1889-1957) Game Creek Bridge Circa 1940 This Elk County, Kansas landscape in autumn pictures the stone bridge over Game Creek and is signed lower left front. Though clearly an accomplished painter, Norma Bassett Hall is best-known as a printmaker. Her color woodblock prints are highly sought after; her much rarer watercolors even more so. She printed this same composition in both color woodcut and serigraph prints. This is one of only four paintings or watercolors by Norma Bassett Hall on record at auction.
