A RARE GOETZ COUNTRY CLUB BEER FIGURAL BOTTLE RADIO - The circa 1940 figural bottle radio has a bottle cap tuning knob and on off switch is mounted to the back of the Bakelite base where the speaker inside projects downward. Goetz originated in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1859. They were a regional favorite following Prohibition, their Country Club label was extremely popular in Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska. The brand was sold to the Falstaff corporation in the 1960s. Measures 23.25 inches tall.
