AN INTERESTING EARLY 20TH CENT CASED BREADBOARD ON OAK - This fine example of an early cased breadboard radio is comprised of a high quality plate glass showcase on scroll cut oak base, and fitted with ornate copper corner brackets and copper hinges. The top opens to a unit that includes an early variometer, tubes, wiring and rheostats mounted to the front plate and running through the back plate, all with connections that join and are drilled through the glass plate. There are no maker's markings. The operating condition is not known. Measures 22.75 inches long.
