MICHAEL HORSE (B. 1951) WATERCOLOR AND GOUACHE PAINTING - Michael Horse (Arizona, Born 1951) The Prize Late 20th Century The original painting, signed lower right, is executed on a map of 'Oregon, Kansas, California and the Territories.' The painting is circa late 20th century while the map dates to 1896 when the area that would become the state of Oklahoma was identified as 'Indian Territory' on the map, just behind the running horse. Sheet measures 9.5 x 12 with a framed size of 14.75 x 18.75 inches.
