Peter Feldstein was an American photographer and professor of Art at the University of Iowa notable for, among other things, his Oxford Project where he, in 1984 he invited all of Oxford, Iowa's 676 residents to have their portraits taken. Nearly every resident participated. Twenty years later he re-photographed many of the original participants and recorded their life experiences, stories and changes in personal, social, and economic circumstances through photography and interviews.
