Paul Strisik was a very prolific and talented artist who became a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, and an Academician of the National Academy of Design. Among the various strengths of his paintings are the skillful portrayal of varying effects of light, atmosphere and weather, which Strisik rendered with a keen sense of observation and an impressionistic touch. His works also evoke a strong sense of place and time without the viewer realizing just what it is about the picture that conveys this. Canvas measures 16 x 20 with a framed size of 24 x 28 inches.
