19th Century Indo-Persian Pesh-Kabz Dagger with Jade Hilt - A 19th-century Indo-Persian pesh-kabz dagger with a long, strongly tapered steel blade of characteristic armor-piercing form. The blade is reinforced by a pronounced central ridge and substantial spine, narrowing to a fine point. The hilt is fitted with a carved jade grip, secured by small metal pins and shaped into a strongly curved pommel terminating in a stylized animal-head form. A narrow metal collar separates the grip from the blade. The dagger is accompanied by a fitted dark brown leather-covered scabbard of simple form. The blade shows age-consistent staining, oxidation, and surface wear, while the jade hilt exhibits natural color variation and minor age-related marks.
