Round smoothbore barrels. Flat stepped, engraved lock of mid 17th century form. The cock very finely formed as a bird, engraved with scrolls, and beautifully pierced under the lower jaw. Finely figured walnut butt with flattened, ovoid steel buttcap. The pistol in good condition throughout and of exceptionally elegant form.  Total length: 20 1/2”, 12”, . 62 cal barrel.
