Rare American Revolution War Model 1766 Musket With Provenance - The French Model 1766 Musket is a legendary .69 caliber flintlock smoothbore Charleville Musket. Adopted after the Model 1763 proved too heavy, it featured a lightened barrel, slimmed lock, and a button-shaped rammer. It famously became the primary infantry weapon of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary. Used by William Kendall who was at the battle of Stillwater.
