Ives, Blakeslee Palace Cast Iron Collectable Coin Machine Bank c.1890's - This bank in the image of a palace is made by C.W. Blakeslee of Ives, Blakeslee Co., in Bridgeport, CT. It was made around 1890. This is the ”Palace” cast iron bank made by Ives. Wow, this is an impressive looking piece with lots of fine casting detail, with gold painted highlights and green grass in front, coin slot on back behind spire, hinged coin trap has embossed letters ”I.B. & Co.” measuring a large 8 1/2 high x 8 3/5 wide.
