American Anne Packard Oil On Canvas Seascape Painting - Fine vintage oil on canvas seascape painting by listed American artist Anne Packard ( b.1933). Framed. Signed lower left. Size: 21” x 28” framed”; 14” x 21” unframed. Painter, Anne Packard was born in 1933 in Hyde Park, New Jersey and spent her summers in Provincetown, Massachusetts where she moved in 1977, after raising five children. Her early work was painting on wood panels and weathered shingles, but mediums now include oil, monotypes and giclee. She attended Bard College, and studied with the late Phil Malicoat. Packard has traveled extensively, and locations include the Outer Cape, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Mexico.
