American Civil War period Confederate 1861 Presentation - American Civil War period Confederate 1861 Presentation Sword from Captured US Field & Staff officer.Rare Confederate presentation sword altered from a captured Trophy saber of the US Field and Staff officer, with heavily etched presentation inscription on the blade and various Confederate and regiment markings to all brass mounts, each mount with a series of 6 dots. Very good condition overall with light wear and nice patina. Total length 39.25”, length of the blade - 32.5”
