Very attractive large example with its brass furniture retaining portion of its silver plated finish, now mostly worn, fine fluted grip. Mounted with a straight large fullered blade showing light to moderate wear to beautiful blued and gilt decorations, including American Patriotic motifs. Very good condition for the age with nice light patina and wear consistent with the age. Total length including scabbard ( when scabbard is present) - 38.5”. Length of the blade - 32.75”.
