Beardshaw, etched ”FAMOUS”Nice later example made for American market, with a mirror finished clip-point blade etched ”FAMOUS” to one side, lower struck with the Queen's cipher VR and maker's name at ricasso, other side with ribboned ”Texas Bowie” trademark. German silver mounts and nice two tone bull horn grips with unusually formed pistol-grip pommel. Excellent condition for being well over a century of age. Total length including scabbard ( when scabbard is present) - 11.5”. Length of the blade - 6.75”.
