Silver Inlaid Russian Caucasian KINJAL Dagger - SwordA massive example with a long broad double edged blade of complex multi fullered structure different on each side, both sides showing etched decorations in imitation of Damascus steel, lower blade struck with distinctive double maker mark. With its fine horn grips and silver inlaid iron mounts, in its original leather covered wooden scabbard housing a nice long companion knife on the back. Rare and very impressive Kinjal of exceptional size, a short sword rather than a dagger. Total length - 24 1/4” Blade length 17 3/4”.
