Rare 19th C. Indian Tulwar/Shamshir Sword with Carved - Rare 19th C. Indian Tulwar/Shamshir Sword with Carved Jade Hilt and Large Wootz Damascus Blade. A large example with a fine dark green jade hilt carved with floral motifs. Wearing a large and broad blade of very active Wootz damascus steel, having large fuller to each side and a pronounced raised false edge tip. In its fabric over wood scabbard. A very attractive and rare saber, the hilt fits a large hand comfortably in oppose to most Hindu swords with relatively small hilts.
