Rare 17th C. Italian SCHIAVONA Broad Sword Rapier. - Rare 17th C. Italian SCHIAVONA Broad Sword Rapier. An early large example of characteristic form, having a highly unusual large pommel and strong double edged blade with early Germanic and Gothic markings to both sides. Married to a wonderful very old leather over wood scabbard of perfect length for this very rare sword. Total length (inside scabbard if present) : 42”Blade length : 35”
