Please see images for details.    About: Rene Lalique (1860–1945) was the leading Art Nouveau jeweler in Paris before he turned to glass, and his frosted relief set against clear ground became one of the defining looks of Art Deco. Pieces from his lifetime are signed “R. Lalique”; production after his death in 1945, under his son Marc, is marked “Lalique France.” “Malaga” is a late Rene Lalique design of about 1937, catalogued by the factory as a lave-raisins — a small vessel for rinsing grapes — and named, like several of his wine-related models, for a Spanish sweet-wine region.
