Please see images for details.    About: “Dampierre” was designed by Marc Lalique in 1948 — an ovoid vase banded with frosted sparrows among berried vine. Marc took over the house on his father Rene's death in 1945 and converted it from demi-cristal glass to lead crystal, dropping the initial from the mark, so Dampierre is signed “Lalique France, ” never “R. Lalique.” It has remained in the catalogue since, and individual pieces are dated by the form of the signature.
