Lalique ”Ermitage” Glass Tray - Dimensions: 10” x 8 1/2”    Condition: The glass dish is in very good condition.    About: Rene Lalique (1860–1945) was the leading Art Nouveau jeweler in Paris before he turned to glass, and his frosted relief set against clear ground became one of the defining looks of Art Deco. Pieces from his lifetime are signed “R. Lalique”; production after his death in 1945, under his son Marc, is marked “Lalique France.” “Ermitage” is a dressing-table pattern, its tray finished at each end with a bowed frosted rim set with cabochons.
