Lalique ”Bluets” Glass Vanity Dish - Inscribed Lalique on the bottom of the dish. Original Lalique box and paperwork included.    Dimensions: 2” Tall x 3” Wide x 4” Deep   Condition: The lid has a 1/2” chip on the lip. Minor scratches to the box. Please see images for details.    About: Rene Lalique (1860–1945) was the leading Art Nouveau jeweler in Paris before he turned to glass, and his frosted relief set against clear ground became one of the defining looks of Art Deco. Pieces from his lifetime are signed “R. Lalique”; production after his death in 1945, under his son Marc, is marked “Lalique France.” Bluets are cornflowers, a motif the house has used across a range of dressing-table pieces.
