Marks and scratches to the frame and glass.    Artist Bio: Born in Columbus, Ohio, George Bellows (1882-1925) was one of the most vital American painters and draftsmen of the early twentieth century. Associated with the Ashcan School, he brought raw energy and social realism to urban life, sport, and portraiture. His lithographs and drawings are equally prized alongside his celebrated boxer paintings.
