Born in Eragny-sur-Epte, he was raised among leading Impressionists and received early guidance from his father. Paul-Émile developed a distinctive style blending Impressionist light with the structure of Fauvism and Cézanne-inspired composition. Working primarily in Normandy and later in Lyons-la-Forêt, he depicted rural landscapes, gardens, and village scenes using rich, vibrant color and strong brushwork. His work reflects continuity within the Pissarro family legacy, bridging 19th-century Impressionism with early 20th-century modernism.
