Pablo Picasso Femme (A.R. 300) Ceramic Pitcher - Stamped, marked, numbered 'Edition Picasso/Madoura Plein Feu/Edition Picasso/No 21/100    Dimensions: 12” x 5 1/2”   Condition: Crack repair to the center part of the handle. Two light interior hairlines at the rim that do not extend through to the exterior. The rest of the pitcher is in good condition.   Bio: Pablo Picasso is known for his extensive experimentation in ceramics beginning in the late 1940s, when he worked at the Madoura Pottery studio in Vallauris, France. During this period, he produced limited ceramic editions that combined traditional forms with his signature motifs and sculptural reinterpretations. The “Femme” pitcher (A.R. 300) reflects Picasso’s approach to transforming utilitarian vessels into expressive figurative works, using hand-applied decoration, stylized profiles, and bold linework.
