Artist proof signed and numbered 17/25 Image: 27 1/4" x 20" Frame: 34 3/4" x 26" Condition: Image is in very good condition aside from some minor toning to the paper. Frame has surface scratches. See photos. Artist Bio: Known as "the quintessential Jewish artist of the twentieth century" by art historians, Marc Chagall explored themes of his Jewish and Eastern European upbringing in his unique avant-garde artwork. Beyond paintings, Chagall dabbled in an extensive range of artistic formats including drawings, stained glass, ceramics, and even designed costumes and set for The Ballet Theater of New York.
