This 19th-century serving piece features an elaborate neoclassical garden scene with robed figures and statuary in the center, framed by a decorative floral and foliate border along the gently scalloped, octagonal rim. The platter is clearly marked on the underside with the ”Columbia” pattern name and the W. Adams & Sons banner and urn motif, a hallmark of their 19th-century output.
