Antique Signed Manchester Kashan Rare Sky Bue Rug - A truly fine example of a Persian Mohtasham Kashan in the Manchester Style. Most likely an early to middle revival period carpet. Has a very vibrant main light blue open field, pink with red and blue borders. Signed with inscription, fine weave, pliable. Rug measures approximately 12' 3” x 9' x 11'. Some of the fringe weave is missing on each end. The missing weave measures approximately 2 ft on one end and on the other end it is about 7 in. Provenance: Private collection, New Jersey estate, same home for 80+ years
