Exceptional Antique Persian Qashqai Tribal Rug - Beautiful light blue, red, and ivory colors. A Qashghai Gul medallion, multiple borders, one border shows what appears to be a repeating pattern of a woman or a man and stars, There are unidentified characters in all four corners of the Gul medallion. All wool rug. Pliable with a tight weave. One spot of selvage shows loss, and some areas of selvage has come loose. The rug shows some small minor size spots of wear. Measures approximately 3' 9” x 3' 5 1/2”. Provenance: New Jersey estate, in the same home for 80+ years
