Includes an exceptional Colt 1851 Navy Revolver engraved by Gustav Young. Our military expert believes this to be true and authentic after carefully studying the engravings and comparing them to original Gustav Young engravings. However, while we believe this to be true and original, it is up to the bidder to determine authenticity using their own expertise PRIOR to bidding. Provenance: consignor states that the gun has been in his personal collection for over 20 years. Consignor also states that it was originally purchased from a California gun dealer who expressed that the gun had come from the collection of famous movie star Buster Keaton. Consignor is trying to locate the original paperwork that he was given in regards to this. If this provenance is located it will be forwarded to the winner of the item. Please bid accordingly on this amazing Gustav Young Colt.
