1939 GAUSIEGER BADGE - Ultra rare 1939 GAUSIEGER BADGE. Attractive - and scarcely encountered! - 'Buntmetall'-based, 'HJ'- (ie. 'BDM'-) related so-called: 'Reichsberufswettkampf-Siegerabzeichen' (of the 2nd model) entitled: 'Gausieger 1939' and being a maker- (ie.: 'G. Brehmer'-) marked example This is a truly attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - 'HJ'- ('Hitlerjugend') ie. 'BDM'- ('Bund Deutscher Mädel') related, so-called: 'Reichsberufswettkampf-Siegerabzeichen' being a high-quality (ie. 'Buntmetall versilbertes'-) based award (of the 2nd model) bearing the text: 'Gausieger 1939' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately worn- ie. used-), condition. The truly attractive badge is (as stated above) executed in high-quality, silvered metal (ie. 'versilbertes Buntmetall'-) and is nicely maker-marked on its back with the typical makers'-designation: 'Gustav Brehmer - Marneukirchen' (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge comes in a moderately used- ie. worn condition and is truly totally void of any enamel-damage (as can be seen on the pictures). It is just bit tarnished ie. dust caused by normal age and moderate wear The badge comes naturally mounted onto its. The badge has a truly wonderful appearance and we do not believe that it has ever been cleaned nor polished: it comes as found.
