Dayton Painting Oil on board of Wysox PA. Attributed to Charles Dayton, This painting bares the signature Dayton in 1883 and it is of a Riverscape near Wysox PA. It may be the Wysox river, but it shows the surrounding farmland, and is quite beautiful and is a wonderful local PA Pennsylvanian Painting. Has very minor loss in the form of a minor flake of paint, and the frame is in good condition. This was painted on a Board made by F.W. Devoe & Co. A full picture of an identical label will be included for your research. measures: appx. 18" 24.25" with frame and 12.25" x 18.5" viewable board
