This album followed the success of Oxygène and solidified Jarre’s place as one of the most innovative electronic musicians of his time. The album is composed of eight seamless tracks (Parts 1-8) that build in intensity, creating an immersive listening experience. The cover artwork, designed by Michel Granger, features an array of blue ”watchers” with wide eyes, an iconic image associated with the album.
