Théophile Steinlen (1859-1923) Two-Sided Original Sketches / Studies
Attributed to Théophile Steinlen (1859-1923) an original two-sided sketch/study. One side is of multiple human faces and portions of human faces (13 in total). It is signed by the artist and has what appears to have a numbered addition calculation next to the signature. The opposite side features full-bodied drawings in pencil of two cats. There are the following letters on the lower left "F.h. A. S.". The images measure 8 1/2 by 5 1/4 inches. The work is framed in double-sided glass allowing for either side to be viewed, with a gold gilt wood on one side and black on the other side. The frame's outer measurements are 14 1/4 by 11 inches.
