Rare Series of Original Drawings by Ramon Santiago - "Prometheus Bound"

Ramon Santiago, American (1943 - 2001) series of six (6) original colored, mixed media drawings. It is our opinion that these drawings are associated with "Prometheus Bound" - an ancient Greek tragedy traditionally attributed to Aeschylus and thought to have been composed sometime between 479 BC and the terminus ante quem of 424 BC.

All works are signed and dated 1972 by the artist on the lower right.  All have been professionally framed. The Priest image has staining on the lower portion of the matting.  All are in fine condition with the exception of the matt staining on the one piece.  The images measure 9 1/4 inches by 25 3/4 inches. Framed measurements are approximately 14 1/2 by 32 inches.
