1926 Sesquicentennial Half Dollar: Silver Half Dollar Washington & Coolidge - The 1926 Sesquicentennial Half Dollar was the first coin to feature a portrait of a U.S. president. The obverse of the coin depicts portraits of George Washington and Calvin Coolidge.  The reverse side of the coin shows a depiction of the Liberty Bell.  The coin was struck in 1926 at the Philadelphia Mint to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.  Please refer to the images for the best determination of the condition of this coin.
