Previews of the collection are now taking place.



A selection of major collections throughout periods of American history - from infamy to victory, from the first pitch to the last strike.  This auction will include the newly discovered Courtney Collection of rare photographs from two generations including an extensive personal album of noted World War II original photographs by John Courtney.  Rare 1920s Babe Ruth photos promoting the film "Headin' Home" by Jack Courtney.  A large selection of militaria items including helmets, uniforms, and bags.

We provide free in-house packing. Shipping is billed separately.  Buyers have 7 days to pick up items from our High Falls, NY location.  Items remaining for more than 30 days without prior agreement by Scott Daniel's, will be forfeited.

Note: William Averell Harriman (November 15, 1891 – July 26, 1986), better known as Averell Harriman, was an American Democratic politician, businessman, and diplomat. The son of railroad baron E. H. Harriman, he served as Secretary of Commerce under President Harry S. Truman, and later as the 48th Governor of New York. He was a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1952 and 1956, as well as a core member of the group of foreign policy elders known as "The Wise Men". The second largest public park in New York State is named for the Harriman Family, which donated much of the land incorporated into the park.
