East German M56/76 Helmet with Leather Liner
H18 - East German M56/76 Military Helmet with Leather liner and chin strap. The helmet could be a military surplus. This design was rejected originally by Hitler. The soviets picked them up and rolled them out to the East German Army for use. This style of helmet was also used by troops who guarded the Berlin Wall. The helmet contains some scuffs, scratches, and paint chips. The leather liner and chin strap are in good working condition. The helmet measures approximately 12 inches Long X 10.5 inches Wide and 6.5 inches High.
