Soft cover booklet promoting the Thomasson Protractor Method Garment Cutting . One of the very first systems of standardized tailoring methods created in the United States. The first having been commissioned prior to 1838 according to the Smithsonian. This first edition is remarkable for its promotion of " Lady Tailors" being able to achieve success with the education offered just as male tailors would.
